Associate to the Firm in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Antitrust areas. His practice has developed around domestic and international corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence processes, agreements, spin-offs, corporate restructures, guaranteed and financed transactions as well as the incorporation of new companies and development of new lines of businesses, including agreements among shareholders such as joint ventures.
Likewise he has developed an antitrust practice comprising consultation and litigation in vertical and horizontal restraints, including advising and representing clients as defendants or claimants in formal antitrust investigations and claims filed with the Mexican Economic Competition Commission; including cases of local and international cartels, immunity program, and merger control clearance, among others. Prior to joining the firm, he was a foreign associate at Mayer Brown, LLP based in the Chicago office and also collaborating with the Washington office where he actively participated with the antitrust areas of both branch offices.
Since his joining the law firm, he has been actively participating in the competition practice area.
He has been involved in publications such as “Getting the Deal Through – Vertical Restraints”2010-2013, Mexico Chapter, co-author.
Graduated in 2002 and obtained his law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, A.C.
