His area of concentration includes: litigation, consulting on crime prevention, representation in criminal matters, defense and assistance in white-collar crime. He also has experience in constitutional proceedings (amparo) and human rights matters.

Graduated from the Universidad Latinoamericana with his thesis entitled: Proposal for Creating a National Trust to Provide Compensation for White-Collar Crimes [Propuesta para la creación de un fideicomiso nacional para la reparación del daño en materia de delitos patrimoniales]. He took a specialization course in criminal law at the Universidad de Castilla La Mancha (España), a diploma course in constitutional proceedings (“amparo”) at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, a course on legal auditing to prevent white-collar crime at the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico, a certification course on the adversarial system of criminal justice at the Instituto Mexicano de Juicios Orales, as well as other courses in criminal law and crime prevention.
