Focuses on tax planning, advisory and tax strategy, both national and internationally (application of tax treaties), including private clients, estate planning for individuals and its families, as well as the tax aspects of transactions carried out by corporations, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, among others.
Author of several national and international articles and publications and has participated as speaker in the International Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association, Lex Mundi, among others.
He is Vicepresident of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners México (STEP) and member of the board.
Chair of the Young IFA Network (YIN) of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
Member of the Tax Committee of the Mexican Bar Association.
Graduated from the Law School of the Universidad Panamericana in 2000. Has an LL.M degree in Tax Law studies in the Universidad Panamericana. He carried out an internship at Australian Taxation Institute (ATAX) in Sydney Australia in 2004. Has a Foundation Certificate in International Trust Management from The University of Manchester Business School, The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and CLT International.
Has been professor of international taxation at the LL.M. program of the Universidad Anahuac campus Cancun and at the Universidad Marista campus Merida. He has taught the course “Taxation of Foreign Residents” of the “Tax Treaties and Foreign Residents” program of the International Fiscal Association in Mexico and has been deputy professor at the LL.Ms’ programs on Taxation and Tax Law of the Universidad Panamericana.
