ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Associate of the Firm since 2007 and partner of the Civil, Commercial and Arbitration Litigation practice since March 2020.

His professional practice includes the handling of civil and commercial lawsuits (ordinary, executive, public works, commercial bankruptcy, among others) before common and federal authorities, both in the Federal District (now Mexico City) and in the interior of the Republic, including amparo proceedings and appeals before the Federal Judicial Branch; as well as the processing in Mexico of procedural acts to take effect in foreign courts, before which he has also presented opinions.

Additionally, he has participated as party counsel in international arbitrations, as well as in judicial proceedings for obtaining interim injunctive relief in support of arbitration, as well as enforcement and annulment of arbitral awards.

His experience extends to consumer protection matters and related litigation, including investigations initiated by the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor) and complaints before the same, administrative proceedings for violations of the law, among others.
He also collaborates with other areas of the Firm in national and transnational operations in the public and private sector, as well as in legal audits and consulting in general.

EDUCATION

Graduated from Universidad La Salle Mexico City campus ("ULSA") in 2005 from which he obtained his professional degree in 2007, with specialization studies in Civil Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ("UNAM") and a diploma in Commercial Arbitration from the International Chamber of Commerce Mexico "ICC MEXICO", Escuela Libre de Derecho ("ELD") and the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC.
