Senior Associate of the law firm BASHAM, RINGE Y CORREA, S.C., practicing in the areas of Arbitration, Civil and Commercial Litigation
Her professional practice includes, among others, handling Civil and Commercial Lawsuits, processed in Mexico City and in states across the Mexican Republic; as well as handling procedural acts in Mexico to have effects in foreign courts.
Due to her professional practice and studies, she has developed expertise in corporate planning, consulting, compliance, and strategy development, with experience in drafting agreements and contracts.
She has been appointed as a sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator, and has also participated as counsel and advisor in various arbitration proceedings. She represents national and international clients in court proceedings, mediation procedures, and judicial arbitration proceedings.
Delegate of ICC Mexico in the World Commission on Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce ICC Arbitration for the period 2022-2024.
EDUCATION
She has a degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She holds a Master's degree in Law, in which she graduated with academic excellence.
She also holds a Master's degree in Commercial and Investment Arbitration from the University of Alcalá de Henares in Spain, where she graduated with an "Outstanding" rating with the topic "The defense of the Spain-Mexico arbitration clause."
In addition, she has the following studies:
- Diploma in Corporate Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
- Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms from the Arbitration Center of Mexico (CAM), Construction Industry Arbitration Center (CAIC), and National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO).
- ABC Arbitrator Diploma from the National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO).
- Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Free School of Law, the International Court of Arbitration, and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
- Seminar on Commercial Arbitration from the Arbitration Center of Mexico (CAM), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and the University of Aberdeen (Scotland).
- Workshop on the Procedural Praxis of Online Trials offered by the World Organization of Lawyers.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
She has taught classes on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms at La Salle University, Ibero-American University, Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), and currently at the Escuela Libre de Derecho.
She has also served as a presiding arbitrator and co-arbitrator in various editions of the UP-ICC Mexico Moot; Moot Mexico organized by the Arbitration Center of Mexico (CAM); Moot Center for Arbitration and Mediation, Chamber of Commerce of Santiago (CAM Santiago-Chile), among others.
