Senior Partner of the Firm, with 24 years of experience in the practice of Social Security Law in Mexico City.
His professional practice has been developed in planning, consulting, strategy and defense in IMSS and INFONAVIT matters in the following areas: issuance and collection, company classification, labor risks, affiliation, agreements, employer audits (reports, SIROC, voluntary corrections, specific visits, etc.), payment of disabilities, granting of economic benefits, payment of contributions and amortization of housing loans, regularization of payments and certifications of compliance with employer obligations.
Active member of the Social Security Committee of the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE), Chairman of the Human Resources Committee of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City and Associate of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CanCham).
PRO BONO
Active collaborator of Fundación Basham, Ringe y Correa, Fundación Barra Mexicana, A.C. and Centro Mexicano Pro Bono.
RECOGNITIONS
In 1996 and 1997, he participated as legal advisor in the implementation of the new pension system for the constitution and operation of Administradoras de Fondos para el Retiro (AFORES), before Consar, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.
Author of several articles and publications specialized in Social Security and lecturer in several forums organized by employers' and academic organizations.
EDUCATION
Graduated from La Salle University School of Law in 1995, he completed a Master's Degree in Business Law at La Salle University (2018-present). Specialization in Tax Law by the Universidad de Estudios de Posgrado en Derecho, as well as several refresher courses and diploma courses in social security matters given by the Colegio de Contadores Públicos, Thomson Reuters and the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social.
ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
Professor of Social Security Law at Universidad La Salle, Tax Procedural Law at Universidad Tecnológica de México and taught the Social Security Module in the Diploma for Certification of Public Accountants at Universidad de las Américas in Puebla.
